The Overview

Social Pastries is a brand concept created

to make gluten and dairy free pastries more accessible through grocery retail. The brand focuses on unique flavor combinations and elevated treats, like cannolis and éclairs, that are often hard to find and take time to bake.

The Problem

Gluten and dairy-free consumers often struggle to find pastries that follow their

diets. Social events can be a struggle,

often with no treat options. Baking your

own treats brings the uncertainty about

how others without dietary restrictions

will perceive alternative treats.

The Solution

The brand and packaging were designed

to feel inclusive and inviting, encouraging everyone to try gluten and dairy free treats. Each tray-style package can be served right at social events, pairing convenience with creative visuals that highlight unique flavors.


The clean yet playful design communicates the brand’s focus on quality ingredients, while its creativity invites curiosity and joy.

I’m proud of how Social Pastries combines thoughtful design with a clear purpose. This project taught me how to build a brand that balances function and creativity, making gluten and dairy free products feel exciting, approachable, and easy to understand.


If I revisit this project, I’d increase the color palette's saturation, explore other package formats, expand the social media presence, and it would be fun to develop a marketing campaign with brand activations.
