The Overview

As part of a team of four graphic designers,

I helped redesign Pandora’s modular design system and apply it across both web and mobile interfaces. Our goal was to refresh the brand's look while improving usability and consistency between digital platforms.

I led the website portion of the project and set up the structure so other team members could finalize specific details. We updated details like type, icons, color, and included illustrations created by another designer to add brand personality.

The Probelm

We felt Pandora’s website could be seen as being overwhelming for users. With such a large product catalog and many categories, it was easy to feel lost while browsing.

Our goal was to make the experience simpler, whether someone was exploring

or shopping with a specific item in mind.

The Solution

To simplify the experience, we researched online shopping sites to identify the features that made navigation feel easy. I designed the website layouts and structure to create

a smoother browsing experience (getting opinions throughout the process).

The Conclusion

The redesign created a clearer and more approachable shopping experience that balanced Pandora’s brand with improved usability. The updated layouts aim to make

it easier for users to explore, discover, and shop with confidence.

Self Reflection

This project helped me learn to organize large amounts of content into a clear layout. Working in Adobe XD pushed me to adapt quickly and collaborate effectively.

If I revisit this project, I'd focus on revisiting details like spacing and type styles. In my WS internship I focused on this and I think some areas could be fine tuned. I'd also look at their current redesign and expand my layouts to push boundries a little more.
