The Overview

Euclid, OH, is a lakefront community with

a strong local identity. Their current logo

no longer reflected the city’s attributes and values. This redesign introduces a clean, mark that highlights Euclid’s connection

to its tagline, “The Lakefront City.”

The Problem

Euclid’s existing logo was overly detailed, making it difficult to scale down and apply consistently across platforms. A new logo needed to be simple and memorable while still reflecting the identity of Euclid, OH.

The Solution

To simplify complex research into a clear design, I focused on key aspects from the brief, translating them into simple shapes

that reflected Euclid’s identity. From there,

I began sketching and combining different elements, and gathered feedback through design reviews to gain a new perspective.

Self Reflection

This redesigned identity gives the city of Euclid a modern, unified look that reflects its lakefront spirit and community pride. With a simple, flexible system, the logo strengthens recognition and creates brand consistency.


If I revisit this project, I'd focus on editing the existing web pages. I'd like to review details like spacing and type styles. I focused on

this in my WS intenship and I think some areas could be fine tuned.
